Overview
The L3 drops the cord entirely. It runs on two 18V lithium batteries, both included with two chargers. GX says each battery charges in about 2 hours and runs about 30 minutes, so you get roughly an hour with both, and you can charge one while running the other. It has a 250W motor, reaches 4500 PSI (320 bar), and has auto-stop at your set pressure, a built-in oil/water separator, and a cooling fan. The fan is manual: leave it running after the compressor stops until the machine cools down. GX recommends 15 minutes on and 10 minutes off to extend its life, and limits it to tanks of 1L or smaller. It weighs 17.8 lb. In the box: the compressor, two batteries, two chargers, a pull handle, spare burst discs, a first-stage piston ring, springs, and a tool kit. It's no longer sold on Amazon; buy it direct from GX.
