About This Site

Built for the guy scratching his head in front of fifty compressors that all look the same.

Why it exists

A few years ago, if you wanted to fill a PCP airgun you had a hand pump, a dive shop, or a very expensive compressor. Then the small offshore compressors showed up, and now there are dozens of them. Different names, same photos, wildly different quality.

Amazon reviews mostly come from the first week of ownership. What you really want to know is what happens after the hundredth fill. Does it still reach pressure? Did the seals go? How hot does it run filling a carbon fiber tank?

That's what this site is for. We sort compressors by the things that actually matter (your power, what you fill, how hard you'll use it) and collect reviews from people who own them.

Who's behind it

I'm Roger Seher. I also run GXPCPCompressor.com and PCPAirgunForum.com.

How the site makes money

I want you to know exactly where I stand:

  • Amazon links are affiliate links. If you buy, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
  • Some GX Pump models are sold direct from GX's own store. Those links carry my referral code, which pays me a small commission.
  • Quote requests for the big Alkin and Coltri machines come straight to me. If you end up buying through me, I may make money on that sale.
  • Owner reviews can't be bought. No brand pays for placement, a better rating, or to remove a bad review.

If a $400 compressor will do what you need, I'll tell you that before I try to sell you a $4,000 one.
